2012年10月23-30日，我院陈景文教授、张耀斌教授、谭峰副教授、张瑛副教授、高金索博士、谢晴博士、博士研究生尉小璇等7人参加了在美国迈阿密举办的“The 9th International Symposium on Persistent Toxic Substances”国际会议。本次会议由佛罗里达国际大学承办，会议内容涵盖了关于持久性有毒物质研究的多个方面：环境化学、毒理学、分析化学，共有160余名国内外著名科学家、学者参加了本次会议，收到会议论文152篇。

会上陈景文教授作了“Quantum Chemical Prediction Models on Photochemical and Biological Transformation of Organic Chemical”的报告，并被授予第一届“Young Scientist Award”奖，张耀斌教授作了“Fe Added into Anaerobic System for Enhanded Azo Dye Wastewater Treatment”的报告，张瑛副教授作了“Biomagnification of Mercury and Mercury Exposure Among Chinese General Polulation”的报告，谢晴博士作了“Photoinduced Hydrolysis of Hydroxylated Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (HO-PBDEs): Formation of Dihydroxylated HO-PBDEs”的报告，尉小璇作了“Photodegradation of Ofloxacin: Effects of pH and Water Constituents”的报告，谭峰副教授和高金索博士分别以墙报形式展示了自己的研究内容。与会期间，我院师生积极与各国学者交流，展示最新研究成果，提升了我院在国际环境领域的知名度和影响力，受到参会代表的好评。
